My goal

Help you move from surviving to thriving and to find hope beyond loss. Grief may always be a part of your story, but it doesn't have to define who you are. I provide a compassionate, expert space for you to navigate loss and rediscover a life of meaning, purpose, and growth.

My mission

To walk alongside individuals and families through their darkest moments of grief, providing the professional tools and emotional support needed to move from a state of survival to one of thriving.

My vision

To help every client see their full potential, ensuring that even after unthinkable loss, they can navigate a new journey toward a fulfilling and hopeful future. I believe that personal growth is one of life’s greatest gifts.

My journey & experience

Born and raised right here in Belleville, Ontario, my path to this work was driven by a deep-seated passion for helping others. Having lived experience in navigating the loss of loved ones, I have a deep understanding of how grief can leave you feeling stuck and without a compass.

For nearly 20 years, I have dedicated my career to the field of grief and bereavement. As an adult learner, I returned to college and graduated on the Dean’s List from the Social Service Worker Program at Loyalist College. Today, I am a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). In 2023, I completed the Death, Dying and Bereavement program through Wilfred Laurier University.

In working with my clients, I realized that their challenges weren’t simply based on their loss, I realized that they now had to face the fear of a future that feels scary and unknown. I decided I wanted to include Personal Growth therapy into my practice. In 2024, I became a Certified Life Coach through the Canadian Coaching Association. It was important to me that I integrate coaching with clinical counselling, so I'm working towards my accreditation in Interpersonal Therapy through the Association of Psychological Therapies. I felt strongly that whether you are navigating a forced life change due to loss or simply feel the need for "something more," integrating clinical Grief Counselling with Personal Growth Counselling would help clients to reach their potential and navigate their new journey with confidence.

Expertise built on compassion

My professional journey has allowed me to serve our community through impactful roles with United Way Hastings & Prince Edward, The Enrichment Centre for Mental Health, and Hospice Quinte.

In these roles and in many other partnerships in the community, I have had the profound honor of meeting so many brave people. I’ve gained a better understanding of the needs of my community, supported palliative patients during their darkest moments and facilitated grief support groups for children, youth, and adults.
